Did you know that...

Fun and very interesting facts. The two that I like best, of course, is that the woman can ask the man to marry her and then some countries feel it is bad luck to marry in a leap year.
Thank you so much for featuring my frog figurine. He's waiting to be asked to get married or perhaps being kissed by a beautiful princess.

Hi Again Denise! Awesome to have you back, really!! Hope all is well and thank you kindly for your wonderful comments!! Would love to have you back as an author!! I often wonder if "replying" to all the comments is good, I tend to believe so as if I weren't to comment it would appear I didn't care, but I do. Perhaps a "Poll" on that subject is in order? Anywho, love that you're back and look forward to seeing you around the TVV halls!!

What fun facts today, Dave. I loved the square dancing dress pattern, and always enjoyed square dancing at school. Who wouldn't love a black vintage beaded dress, so pretty? I didn't know that one in five engaged couples in Greece will plan to avoid getting married in a Leap Year. That was very interesting to me, as I'm part Greek myself.

Thanks for the fun post today, Dave. wow, that rocket frog sure can jump high. :)

Leila, thanks so much and I'm certain if I can do this, you'd be able to as well. You'd probably surprise yourself and would be a great way to share your passion for all that is vintage. I can add you as an author any time?

Hiya Sheri, always a pleasure to have you stop by! Haha, I once got all gussied-up and done some square dancing, long long ago. Dena's black dress is gorgeous, yes indeed. Greek aye? I'll bet you've a great recipe for a sweet cheese Baklava? Do share! Speaking of great blog writing and posts, I encourage all our readers to stop by and even join/follow your loveliest of blogs "RedRoseAlley" as I'm positive reading your posts is sure to inspire them. Thanks for your kind comments and visits.

Ah yes the clutches of Google! Well we're very glad to have you back Dorene! Love Beanzvintiques and hope you'll stick around a while. Maybe you'd like to join in as an author? Hehe. Let me know! Have a wonderful Saturday and thanks for dropping by!

Hi Dave! Love the blog! Especially the frog on the blog! Seriously all cool vintage finds here! Sadly, I am bloggless:( I really wouldn't know what to write about anyway! Thanks for the mention!:-)

Unknown said...

Renee, The beauty of a blog is that you don't have to have a set plan or theme. You can write about anything from what bait works best for catching bass to what type flour serves best for the fluffiest cake. You can write about anything you choose. I think everyone should give 'er a go at least once. It may or may not be the thing for you, but at very least, ya gave 'er a go. Always nice to have you stop by and your comments are sincerely appreciated.
